waterlilies and travel plans

The Masterpieces from Paris exhibition also included one of Monet's waterlily paintings, which has confirmed our plans to visit Giverny when we go to Paris later this year. 

Coincidentally, one of the library books we have at the moment contains this very painting. Linnea in Monet's Garden is a gorgeous book about a young girl and her retired neighbour who visit Paris together, particularly to see Monet's garden (Giverny is about an hour's train ride from Paris). 

I think we will need to set aside a day to make the same trip
