I was talking with a friend today, and suggested writing lists as a way to work through particularly stressful times. Break down the things you need to get through in a day or a week into manageable pieces, and it no longer seems quite so daunting. It also means you don't have to think too much - just do the next thing on your list - work from top to bottom - and it has a calming effect because you're getting things done instead of running around in circles.
And then it occurred to me that it's exactly what I need to do right now.
I won't bore you with the tedious details, but with a bit of luck it might also include more frequent posting here, and (maybe) even something a little more coherent than this post.
