One image: Salisbury Cathedral

 

We visited Salisbury Cathedral on a very cold October day last year. When we entered, the sky was cloudy and grey, and we were greeted inside by the soaring voices of the choir practising. By the time we left, the sun had come out, and the stone walls of the cathedral glowed in the late afternoon light.
