La chiave - the key. This was one of the words we discussed in the Italian class this week - we were looking at terms related to l'albergo - the hotel.
We're planning on staying in l'appartamento, rather than l'albergo, but still we need to make sure we have la doccia (a shower), la finestra (a window), enough cuscini e coperti (pillows and blankets), and not too many la gradinate (flights of stairs).
Oh, and we do want la lavatrice - a washing machine.
