Ciao! Come sta?

I ordered language courses in French and Italian from The Book Depository last week, and the Italian one arrived in today's mail. It's a multimedia course a book, two CDs and online resources for each stage, and of course I had to be ambitious and order the pack (beginners and continuing) for each language!

I'm hoping Miss Tizz will be interested enough to learn with me. Both kids had a go at the first unit in the car on the way home from school:

• buongiorno
• buona sera
• ciao
• come sta?
• bene, grazie
• e lei?
• arriverderci
• buona notte

At the very least, I would like to be able to greet people without hesitation, tell them my name and where I'm from, and order coffee!
