drawing with pastels

I went to a friend's home for a craft morning today - a chance to chat and work on any sort of portable creative projects we happen to have going. While the others knitted, crocheted and cross-stitched, I drew - this time with a set of pastels I haven't opened in years. And it was fun :) And messy :) And forced me to work quickly and without fussiness, which is something I'm concentrating on.
