I finished this painting a few weeks ago, and I've been waiting for a chance to photograph it in natural light, but the weather and other activities haven't been cooperating until today. It was a little difficult to photograph, because I've used an iridescent paint on the butterfly's wings, and it tends to reflect the light.
I love the colours in this one, and the upward movement of the flowers.
