moving right along

This morning I paid the deposit on the London apartment :)

It's in The Borough, south of the Thames, and about a ten minute walk to London Bridge. Two bedrooms, full kitchen (with a dishwasher), washing machine, internet access (wireless broadband) - just perfect! Dealing direct with the owner, who seems lovely (and both he and the apartment have fabulous reviews). He doesn't mind that flights from Australia arrive ridiculously early in the morning and has offered to meet us at the apartment early so we can make ourselves at home, rather than waiting around until the normal afternoon check-in time.
