An early start to the gratitude today. In fact, about nine hours ago, when we discovered the smell of smoke was not coming from our house. It was next door. Also very grateful that everyone (mum, dad and three kids, including a baby) got out unharmed. Grateful that the fire fighters arrived and put it out quickly. Grateful that they don't use sirens in the middle of the night, so our kids slept through the whole thing. Grateful that the family has more family in Canberra, so they're not stranded.
Just very grateful for a lot of things today.
