step by step

I'm struggling a bit with everyday life. Not so unstable as a few weeks back, but so very, very tired that I'm constantly trying to catch up with things that should be automatic.

So it's time, once again, to write lists, get organised, and tackle everything one small step at a time. I'm so tired I literally can't think of what needs to be done next, and a detailed ongoing list will eliminate that problem - I just do whatever is next, and when something that needs doing presents itself, I add it to the bottom of the list. Everything is broken down into its components, so that nothing becomes overwhelming. An ongoing list that I tackle from top to bottom also means I don't avoid any task - when it reaches the top of the list, it gets done.

And as time goes on, and I'm crossing tasks off the list, and getting things done, then I can start prioritising and being more efficient.

But for now, I need to re-establish the momentum necessary to keep going, and that's enough.
